4. amendment to itinerary by company & CANCELLATION BY COMPANY
The Company makes reasonable effort to avoid changes in the itinerary and/or cancellation of sails. However, the Company reserves the right to make changes at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, especially during peak periods or in the event of other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Disruption of trips due to Changes in Covid 19 restrictions
The Company makes reasonable effort to avoid changes in the itinerary and/or cancellation of sails. However, in the event of an unavoidable disruption of trips due to changes in COVID-19 restrictions, you will be entitled to one free reschedule OR a full-value voucher that can be used to rebook the trip or a different trip of the same value.
In the event that a different trip of higher value is chosen, you will have to top up the difference. The Company is not responsible for any changes to the prices of the trips. To avoid being affected by the changes in prices, you may choose to reschedule your trip instead.
6. Wet weather policy
Singapore is a tropical country with occasional passing showers and thunderstorms. With that in mind, what happens to your charter?
The captain is responsible for assessing the weather and deciding the next course of action. Their decision is final and non-negotiable. As a guide, you need to report to your charter as per the booking details, as the weather on site may differ from what you are experiencing.
In the event of rain, the charter will continue to proceed. If it develops into a thunderstorm (CAT 1), then we will delay the charter for up to a reasonable time where there is no conflict with subsequent charters. If the situation persists, we will then reschedule the charter to a mutually agreeable date and time. The charter is considered fulfilled if the yacht has left the embarkation point.
Again it is always recommended to contact your captain and get an onsite assessment of the weather.
